25-Minute Beef Chili

Makes 4 servingsChili Recipes from AlansKitchen.com

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 - package (12-ounces) fully-cooked ground beef

  • 1 - can (15-ounces) chili hot beans in chili sauce, undrained

  • 1 - can (14 1/2-ounces) chili-style chunky tomatoes, undrained

  • 1 - cup frozen corn

  • 1/4 - teaspoon pepper

  • shredded Mexican cheese blend

  • sour cream

Directions

  1. In large nonstick skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, beans, tomatoes, corn and pepper. Mix and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 10 minutes.

  3. Sprinkle with cheese and/or add sour cream before serving.

Picnicking & Tailgating

You can make the chili a day or two ahead of time.  Heat (on stove or in microwave) and pour into a thermos.  When you get to your picnic and tailgate party, it is nice and hot.
