Western Casserole

Makes 6 to 8 servingsCasserole & Bake Recipes

Prep Time: 20 min
Baking Time: 1 hr

Ingredients:

  •    1  pound ground beef
  •    1  can (16-ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
  •    1  can (16-ounces) red kidney beans, drained
  •    1  can (10-ounces) tomato soup
  •    1  cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  •    1  Tablespoon instant onion
  • 1/2  teaspoon chili powder
  •    1  can (10) refrigerated biscuits
  •    2  Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4  cups crushed soda crackers

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.  Grease large casserole dish.

  1. In a skillet, brown beef.
  2. Add corn, bens, soup, cheese, onion, and chili powder. Mix.
  3. Pour beef mixture into casserole dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour.
  5. Roll biscuits in melted butter, then in the crushed crackers.
  6. Place on top of beef mixture for the last 15 minutes.
