Hummingbird Cake
Makes 10 servings

This is a favorite of my wife Debi.

• 3 - cups flour
• 2 - cups sugar
• 1 - teaspoon baking soda
• 1 - teaspoon salt
• 2 - cups bananas, chopped
• 1 - cup chopped nuts
• 1 - teaspoon cinnamon
• 1-1/2 - cups vegetable oil
• 3 - eggs, beaten
• 1 - can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

1. Grease and flour bundt pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.  
3. Add remaining ingredients, including the juice in the crushed pineapples.  
4. Stir until mixed.   (Hand mix only.)  
5. Pour mixture into the bundt pan.
6. Bake 70 minutes.  
7. Remove from oven and cool on cake rack 25-30 minutes.
8. This is so sweet, you do not need icing.
