Baked Orange French Toast
Makes 6 servings
Prep Time: 15 min.
Chilling Time: several hours or overnight
Baking Time: 25 min.
1) Cut 1-inch sliced
of French bread.
2) Arrange as many
slices that fit a 9x13-inch baking pan.
3) In a medium bowl,
combine eggs, orange juice, milk, sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla. Mix with
a wire whisk until well blended.
4) Pour mixture over

refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 400-degrees F.
6) Pour butter in to
a cookie sheet hat has a 1-inch side or use a 10x15-inch baking pan.
7) Remove bread from
refrigerator and arrange slices on the cookie sheet, leaving a small
amount of space between pieces.
8) Bake for 10

and bake another 10 to 15 minute or until lightly browned.
