Skillet Pan Pizza

Ingredients
- Crust Ingredients
- 2 - Tablespoons Butter
- 1-2/3 - cups all-purpose
flour
- 2 - teaspoons sugar
- 2 - teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 - teaspoon salt
- 2/3 - cup milk
- Sauce Ingredients
- 1 - can (8-ounce) tomato
sauce
- 1 - can (6-ounce) tomato
paste
- 1 - teaspoon dried basil
leaves
- 1/2 - teaspoon dried oregano
leaves
- 1/2 - teaspoon finely
chopped fresh garlic
- 1/4 - teaspoon pepper
- Topping Ingredients
- 6 - ounces (1-1/2 cups)
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1 - cup sliced 1/4-inch
fresh mushrooms
- 2 - ounces sliced pepperoni
- 1 - medium green pepper,
thinly sliced
- 1 - medium tomato, thinly
sliced
- 1 - can (2 1/4-ounce) sliced
pitted ripe olives
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In medium bowl stir together
butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. You want to
stir in milk just until moistened.
- In 10-inch ovenproof skillet,
melt butter in oven for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Meanwhile, on lightly floured
surface knead dough for 1 minute or until smooth.
- Press dough on bottom and
halfway up sides of skillet.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in small bowl you
want to stir together all sauce ingredients.
- Spread sauce over partially
baked crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and mushrooms.
- Arrange pepperoni, green pepper
and tomato on pizza; sprinkle with olives and remaining
cheese.
- Continue baking for 15 to 20
minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
