Iced Tea 101
Makes 6 servings.


4 - cups water

4 - tea bags

2 - cups ice


  • Fill kettle fresh cold water.  Heat until water boils.
  • In your teapot, take warm water and swirl around to heat teapot.  Then pour water out.
  • Add tea bags leaves into pot or in a infusing basket.  If you are using tea bags, place them in pot.
  • Pour water the boiling water into tea pot.  Brew for 5 minutes.  If you find the tea too strong, reduce brewing time.
  • Fill a pitcher with ice.  Remove tea from pot and pour over ice into the pitcher.  You are ready to serve.

Picnicking & Tailgating:

Put into a large jar and close the lid.  Place in the ice chest; however, it can be stored in the picnic basket until you get to your picnic or tailgate site.
