Ingredients

  • 4 cups ice cubes (about 12 to 16)
  • 1/2 cup Spiced Chai Tea* (recipe below)
  • 1/2 cup chilled seltzer
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. In blender, process ice cubes, Chai Tea, seltzer, and condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.

*For Spiced Chai Tea:
Makes 2 cups or enough tea for 4 recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 - cup milk
  • 1 - cup water
  • 1/3 - cup sugar
  • 1/2 - teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 - teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 - teaspoon ground allspice
  • 2 - tea bags (cup size)

Directions

  1. In medium saucepan, bring milk and water just to a boil.
  2. Stir in sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger , ground allspice and tea bags.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags and strain; chill.
  5. Also terrific served warm in mugs.
