Sparkling Pink Lemonade

6 (1-cup) servings

Chilling Time: 30 min.
Ingredients
- 1 - cup sugar
- 1-1/2 - cups (6 lemons) freshly squeezed
lemon juice
- 1 - liter club soda, chilled*
- 4 - teaspoons grenadine syrup**
- 6-inch wooden skewers
- Fresh fruit pieces (strawberries, melon
balls, pineapple chunks, etc.)
Directions
- In a 2-quart pitcher, mix sugar and lemon
juice.
- Stir well and refrigerate at least 30
minutes.
- Just before serving, add club soda.
- Stir in grenadine syrup.
- Thread fruit pieces onto 6-inch wooden
skewers to make kabobs.
- Place kabobs in glasses and add ice.
- Pour in lemonade mixture.
*Substitute 4 cups water.
**Substitute 4 to 6 drops red food color.
