Sparkling Pink Lemonade
6 (1-cup) servings

Chilling Time: 30 min.
1 - cup sugar
1-1/2 - cups (6 lemons) freshly squeezed
1 - liter club soda, chilled*
4 - teaspoons grenadine syrup**
6-inch wooden skewers
Fresh fruit pieces (strawberries, melon
balls, pineapple chunks, etc.)
In a 2-quart pitcher, mix sugar and lemon
juice. Stir well and refrigerate at least 30
Just before serving, add club soda. Stir in grenadine syrup.
Thread fruit pieces onto 6-inch wooden
skewers to make kabobs. Place kabobs in glasses and add ice. Pour in lemonade mixture.
*Substitute 4 cups water.
**Substitute 4 to 6 drops red food color.
