Ham & Yams on a SkewerIngredients

  • 1 whole Tradition Premium Black Forest Half Ham
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 can (17 ounces) Yam
  • 1 can (13 3/4 ounces) Pineapple Chunks in pineapple juice
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine

Directions

  1. Drain yams and cut into halves.
  2. Drain pineapple, saving juice.
  3. Combine 1/2 cup pineapple juice with melted butter or margarine.
  4. Cut ham into 1 to 1 1/2 inch cubes.
  5. Alternately thread ham cubes, yam halves and pineapple chunks on 6 skewers.
  6. Place kabobs on rack in broiler or on grill so surface of the meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat.
  7. Brush kabobs with pineapple juice/butter mixture and grill until lightly browned and heated through.
  8. Turn occasionally while cooking.
