Grilled Glazed Sweet & Sour Chicken

Barbecue & Grilling Recipes from AlansKitchen.com Makes 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 - can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks
  • 3 - Tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 3 - Tablespoon ketchup
  • 3 - Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 - Tablespoon white or cider vinegar
  • 1 - Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 - teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

Preheat grill to medium high heat.

  1. Grill chicken 5 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink in center.

  2. In saucepan, blend pineapple chunks, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, cornstarch and ginger. 
  3. Cook until sauce boils and thickens.
  4. Before serving, spoon sauce over broiled or grilled chicken.

Picnicking & Tailgating

Place in ice chest.  When the grill is ready, just take them out of the ice chest and grill.
