Cheddar Shortbread Bites

Chilling Time: 2 hrs or overnight
- Shortbread Ingredients:
- 1 - cup all-purpose
- 1/2 - cup butter, softened
- 1/2 - teaspoon
- Dash ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 - package (8-ounce) (2 cups) Sharp
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- Topping Ingredients:
- 1 - egg white
- 1 - Tablespoon water
- 2 - Tablespoons poppy seed
- 2 - Tablespoons sesame seed
In a medium bowl, combine flour, butter, salt and red pepper.
Beat at medium speed until dough forms. Add cheese and mix until a

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. (It will be hard to roll at first, but will soften. Press together
