secretary. I made about 30 films, of which 8 were westerns starring Tim
McCoy, Buck Jones, Tom Tyler and Charles Starrett.

2) My birth name is Elizabeth Harriet Henninger. I
was born in 1910. I lead a very private life and had very little written
about me. In 1931, I graduated from USC. In many films I worked as a
double and stuntwoman. I even had a chance to star with Tom Keene, Bill
Elliot, Hoot Gibson and Ken Maynard.

1914. I'm best remembered because of my work in two cliffhangers: I was Volita in
Zorro's Fighting Legion (Republic, 1939) and I
portrayed the "Dragon Lady" in Terry and The Pirates
(Columbia, 1940). I did about thirty films from the mid 1930s to the early
1940s. In her early film work, I was known as Rebecca Wassem. I married
movie star Preston Foster (1900-1970) in 1946, and we remained married
until his death in 1970.

becoming a star at Columbia Pictures, I did supporting roles and bit parts
in a about a half dozen mid to late 1930s westerns starring the Three
Mesquiteers, Tom Keene, George O'Brien and Tex Ritter. During this period,
I was also laboring in a variety of B films (including entries in the Lone
Wolf, Charlie Chan and Blondie series). I was married several times, and
my husbands included Orson Welles, Aly Khan and big band singer Dick
Haymes.

8) In 1914, I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
During my early career, I worked in several Broadway plays and worked as a
model. I went to Hollywood in the early 1930s, and one of my first screen
appearances was as a bridesmaid in Universal's Frankenstein
(1931). Various other roles followed including Heidi (1937) with
Shirley Temple and portraying Ann Rutledge opposite Henry Fonda in Young Mr. Lincoln
(1939). I was at Republic Pictures and made a couple of Roy Rogers
westerns and the King Of The Texas Rangers
serial which starred football great Sammy Baugh. I retired in the early
1940s to rear my three children. I did a few films and TV appearances in
the 1950s.

of RKO cowboy hero Tim Holt. I made a batch of westerns in the 1940s,
primarily at Universal and PRC as the heroine to Johnny Mack Brown, Rod
Cameron, Eddie Dean and Lash LaRue. I also played the female lead in a
couple of cliffhangers.
